Thanks for the victory You give for each hour

Thanks for provision to claim Your matchless pow’r

Thanks for the trials Your vict’ry can claim

May every testing bring honour to Your Name

Sometimes I’ve failed You, Lord

Among the victories You gave

And yet You’ve never cast me down, You willingly forgave

Yet even thru’ the failures You design a sure defense

Of knowledge, strength and lessons learnt

That make a difference
